MDNN Digital also known as Mindanao Daily News Network Digital was launched today, March 10, 2021, at the Event Center of Centrio Ayala Mall. This digital platform is operating under its umbrella company Business Week Mindanao which is one of the top newspapers in Cagayan de Oro City. The company is owned by Sudaria Group of Publications.
The event was attended by the company owners, their staff, segment hosts, some public officials, personalities, business owners, and members from the media and blogging community.
Before the program started, the guests were treated to some light snacks, desserts, and drinks.
The Grand Launching of MDNN Digital was hosted by Ms. Jamie Colon and the program started with an invocation composed of the National Anthem and Prayer.
After that Mr. Dante Sudaria (President and CEO) of the Sudaria Group of Publications was called on stage for his Opening Remarks.
According to him, he is so happy that despite the pandemic, his company was able to stand the test of time and was able to continue publishing and distributing his paper in the city.
With the launching of this new digital platform, he is happy to say that he is embracing the Digital Era and taking advantage of it to expand his business. Sudaria is looking forward to more offerings in 2021 with the stronger team that he has now and is positive that Cagayan de Oro will continue to prosper also in collaboration with MDNN.
The next part of the program is the Project Rationale and Introductory Speech delivered by Mr. Allan Mediante.
It was then followed by a speech by Special Guest Speaker, Hon. Girlie Balaba, who offered words of wisdom and an empowering message to MDNN and to everyone present.
After that, it was followed by another short speech by Dr. Manny Jaudian (President of Cagayan de Oro Press Club). He offered an enlightening message as well.
The most exciting part of the program was when an AVP of MDNN’s New Line Up of Digital Shows was played on the Big Screen. A lot of great online segments are coming our way and some have already aired on the Mindanao Daily News Facebook Page. Some of these segments include; Rated E, Diskarteng Pinoy, Hot Talks, Maghikay ta Mindanao, Sikat Karon, and many more.
After the video was played, it was time to introduce the Program Anchors and Hosts. Each of them was called out on stage and they each shared what people can expect from their segments.
Some of the hosts of these online segments are the following; Ercel Maandig, Mylene Sison, Jamie Colon, James Hallazgo, JS Sanchez, etc.
When it was over, a video presentation of Greetings from National Officials was played. The guests got pumped with the following number which was a performance of MDNN’s very own station ID which was performed by Power 90’s CDO. It was a lively, semi-rap song but the tune was very pleasant to the ears and has that recall after you hear it.
After the performance, the host signaled the end of the event and a photo op ensued with all the guests and attendees of the event.
