In the spirit of Christmas, Limketkai Luxe Hotel held a tree lighting event for a cause “Tree of Hope” last December 15, 2017 at the hotel lobby. The event was hosted by Nicole Abas-Datayan.
This is in line with their aim to spread kindness, joy and generosity this yuletide season. Tree of Hope (project-for-a-cause) is for the benefit of the Balay Canossa Foundation who caters to street children in identified areas in Cagayan de Oro.
Limketkai Luxe Hotel has invited a group of individuals who made generosity as their lifestyle to design their very own Christmas trees and donate to the foundation as well.
Program Proper
The event started with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. After that, Limketkai Luxe Hotel’s General Manager, Jerome Dela Fuente was called up on stage to deliver his speech and welcoming remarks.
A few moments later, City Mayor, Hon. Oscar Moreno was called up on stage to deliver his inspirational message to the crowd.
After the Mayor’s speech, Nicole called up on stage the personalities to describe their Christmas trees. Some of them included; Dr. Emily Ceballos and Ms. Irene Floro.
When this was done, a string performance followed through to entertain the audience and cocktails were served to the guests.
