CUMC Launches Multi-Specialty Wound Care and Arrhythmia Clinic

Do you have long-time wounds or is a diabetic that has wounds that need proper care? Then here’s some good news for you, Capitol University Medical Center just launched their Multi-Specialty Wound Care and Arrhythmia Clinic last week which can be found at the West Wing, 2nd floor of the hospital.

Wound Care Clinic is a new part of the Outpatient Department of CUMC and it caters to chronic wound treatment and management. On the other hand, the Arrhythmia Clinic is where Arrhythmia patients or those who feel the symptoms of the condition can go to and get cared for.

This clinic is managed by specialized doctors but those who go there need to get a recommendation from their attending physician before they can go and get treated in this clinic.

WOUND CARE:

•Wound dressing
•Debridement
•Diabetic foot
•Venous ulcer
•Bedsore

ARRHYTHMIA CLINIC:

•Pacemaker/ ICD Interrogation
•Electrical cardioversion
•Tilt Table Test

Grand Launching

The event started with a blessing and prayer from the guest priest.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony then followed.

After that, everybody was toured around the facility and light snacks were served to the guests.

The media and bloggers present to cover the event had a short press con/interview with the specialty doctors who oversee the new facility.

The doctors shared what services they offer, the equipment they use and guidelines about the newly launched clinic.
