Halloween or ‘All Hallows’ Eve or All Saints’ Eve is a celebration observed in several countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day.
It begins the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed. Everyone has their way of remembering their dearly departed while others have a different way of celebrating Halloween.
Last October 31, 2019, Wine Up had a “Halloween Blackout Party” event wherein guests were invited to party and wear their best Halloween Costumes to win exciting prizes.
For an entrance fee of P150, guests can already enter the party, get one bottle of Heineken Beer and join the Halloween Costume Contest.
The costumes were fun, creative and some were really scary. They gave us the creeps.
It was such an enjoyable evening since there was a lot going on, from face painting to great DJ music playing on the background, guests busting out some moves while others are focused on drinking booze and simply engaging in conversations with friends.
The night was totally lit and everyone had a great time! Til next year!
