It was graced by invited guests and top bloggers in the city. The event was hosted by Mr. Keith Corrales (Recruitment Sourcing Specialist for Sunlife Financial Mindanao).

The event started with Keith Corrales delivering some Opening Remarks and facilitated some fun games to welcome the crowd.

He also helped everyone get to know Sun Life Financial better by talking about the company, its history, and founders.

A few moments later, he introduced the First Speaker from Manila, Ms. Eunice Michelle Aton, she is the Regional Sales Manager of Sunlife Financial Mindanao.

Eunice talked about how she got into Sun Life Financial to inspire the audience to follow suit. She shared her experience that she encouraged her son to save money daily for insurance at Sun Life and is now secured financially even at a young age. Eunice said that there’s no age limit to start saving, savings should start when young so that they will harvest big when the time comes and have a brighter future.

After her speech, the second speaker was introduced by Keith and her name is Ms. Franchette Mejia (Unit Manager of Sun Life Financial Narra Branch).

Franchette used to be a professor at MUST (Mindanao University of Science and Technology) when she started with Sun Life Financial. Later on, she decided to leave teaching and focus on being an insurance agent because she said she earned more and had the freedom of time. Because of this, she is able to spend more time with her kids and family.

When the forum was done, a Press Conference was held for media and bloggers in case they had further questions. Finally, a picture-taking ceremony was conducted for the Sun Life executives and bloggers who attended.
