Are you ready for the grandest fashion event this year? The Mindanao Fashion Summit is set to happen on August 3-5, 2017 at 4 pm at the Limketkai Mall Rotunda. It is one of the most highly anticipated events each year and is one of Higalaay Festival’s core events.
This event is organized by a group of high-caliber fashion designers in the city which goes by the name of Oro Fashion Designers Guild (OFDG).
Since it is one of the city fiesta’s core events, MFS will put the spotlight on the CDO’s finest designers and their works.
Through this event, Mindanaoans will see the rich talent and skills of our city’s designers. It gives them the chance to show people how magnificent their creations are thus opening opportunities for them as well. The MFS is composed of sub-categories and lots of surprises that have not been revealed yet. Are you excited?
Last year, fashion designers from other parts of Mindanao also took part of the event and showcased their masterpieces aside from Cagayan de Oro designers. It’s good to know that fashion events like this are being organized in the city to strengthen and empower individuals in the fashion industry. It also promotes the works of Kagay-anon designers thus giving pride to our city!
