The ceremony started with a blessing from a priest to bring goodwill to the business.
After that, everybody was treated to sparkling wine and a picture-taking ceremony took place together with the business owner.
The guests were also given an exclusive tour inside the eyelash extension shop. They were amazed with the facilities and the shop’s design.
Dinner then followed at Limketkai Luxe Hotel. The guests enjoyed a delicious and hearty meal as the buffet table was filled with an array of mouth-watering food.
After dinner, a program ensued with the owner Ms. Rosevic Downes called up on stage and was interviewed by the event host and the media attendees.
After that, an intimate press con followed to have a more private conversation with the press. This concluded the night and the event was a successful and memorable one.

About the Owner
Ms. Rosevic Downes is the proprietor of “London Eyelash” extension chain in the Philippines and in the UK. She is a beauty icon and woman empowerment advocate. Her idea of putting up this type of business started when one of her co-workers in a hospital in London wore really nice and attractive eyelash extensions.
She asked her co-worker where she had them done and this is where she got the idea of offering this type of service to her future clients. Since it was a hit in that area, she decided to put up her very own chain of eyelash extension shops back home in the Philippines. It was well-received by the market so she has now expanded to different parts in the country being the one at SM CDO Downtown Premier as the 7th branch here in the Philippines.
She believes in being a strong-willed, positive, risk-taker and a hard-worker to achieve success in business. When asked what she likes to do in order to de-stress herself, she said she liked to watch movies and treat herself to a good massage.
According to her, eyelash extensions are a great help to women for their beauty needs because it saves them a lot of time and money since they don’t need to constantly apply them or purchase them all the time. All they need is a one-time application and it lasts for a long time (1-2 weeks before requiring re-touching).
She also revealed that one of the big factors that contributed greatly to her success in the business is having good employees and the work culture she has implemented to them.
