Limketkai Sons Inc. (LKKS), the driving force behind Cagayan de Oro’s beloved Limketkai Center, has launched a community-focused outreach initiative to honor the enduring legacies of Don Lim Ket Kai and Doña Rosario Limketkai.
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — LKKS, renowned for its contributions to real estate development in the region, initiated a gift-giving and spiritual enrichment program benefiting Barangay 31, Barangay 35, and Lapasan last July 1, 2024.
Named “Bless the Community,” this program is a testament to the visionary spirit of its founders, who transformed a small agri-manufacturing enterprise into the sprawling Limketkai Center and numerous sister companies over the decades.
Recognizing the vital role of these communities in the success of their 40-hectare commercial and business hub, LKKS is giving back with essential food packs, including the renowned Marca Leon cooking oil, to 3,000 residents.
Enriching Lives
More than just material aid, “Bless the Community” aims to nourish souls through spiritual guidance. Collaborating with Victory CDO and Christ’s Commission Fellowship, LKKS hosted mass services at Limketkai Center Atrium during the event.
“We believe that true enrichment comes from nurturing the emotional and spiritual well-being of individuals,” remarked Mr. Alfonso Lim, Chairman and President of Limketkai Development Corporation (LDC). “Our collaboration with religious partners underscores our commitment to spreading positivity and spiritual growth within our communities.”
Earlier solicitations for in-kind donations at Limketkai Center garnered support from generous contributors including Limketkai Development Corporation, Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Jollibee Foods Corporation, Christ’s Commission Fellowship, and Victory CDO.
Partnering closely with Sangguniang Barangays of Barangay 31, Barangay 35, and Lapasan, LKKS views “Bless the Community” as just the beginning of its ongoing efforts to foster community development through sustainable programs and strategic partnerships in Cagayan de Oro and beyond.
