Family History lead actors—multi-awarded comedian and content creator Michael V. and highly-acclaimed actress Dawn Zulueta—are off to Northern Mindanao this Friday (July 12) to hold back-to-back events in Cagayan de Oro courtesy of GMA Regional TV.
Michael V., also known as ‘Bitoy’, is bringing his expertise and approaches on TV writing and filmmaking with him as he banners the next leg of GMA Regional TV’s ‘Masterclass Series’ happening at 9:30 am in Centrio Mall. Students from various universities and schools in Northern Mindanao are invited to join.
Dawn joins Bitoy in the afternoon for a Kapuso Mall Show at 4:00 pm in Centrio Mall. Together, they will get up close with their Kagayanon fans as they invite them to watch their upcoming movie. Joining them as well is Kapuso OST Princess Hannah Precillas.
‘Family History’ is the co-production of GMA Pictures and Mic Test Entertainment, which Bitoy has also written, directed, and produced. It is a heart-warming movie about the values of life, marriage, and love that will always lead you home. Starring with Bitoy and Dawn are talented Kapuso stars Miguel Tanfelix, Bianca Umali, Paolo Contis, Nonie Buencamino, Kakai Bautista, Ina Feleo, Mikoy Morales, Nikki Co, Jemwell Ventenilla, Vince Gamad, and John Estrada with special cameo appearances of Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and multi-awarded comedienne and TV host Eugene Domingo. It opens this July 24 in cinemas nationwide.
Meanwhile, the ‘Masterclass Series’ is a project by GMA Regional TV which seeks to gather some of the biggest names in various fields of expertise to give Kapuso in the regions an opportunity to become part of relevant discussions on different topics. It was launched late last year.
“Michael V.’s track record as a loyal Kapuso reinforces his stature as a well-loved and multi-awarded creative genius. He further fascinates us now as he writes, directs, and co-produces through Mic Test Entertainment,” said GMA Regional TV Vice President and Head Oliver Amoroso. “Indeed, Masterclass Series is an opportunity for the audience to learn from the interesting perspective of Michael V.’s venture in front and behind the camera. At the same time, we are excited to bring him and Dawn closer to their Kagayanon fans through our Kapuso Mall Show,” he added.
