Chino’s Deli: Your Favorite Stop for Scrumptious Gourmet Sandwiches is Finally Open at SM CDO Downtown Premier Food Hall with New and Exciting Menu Additions

All gourmet sandwich lovers rejoice! Chino’s Deli just opened and joined SM CDO Downtown Premier’s Food Hall at the mall’s 4^th Floor! They’re here to give Kagay-anons what they’ve always been craving for and that’s wonderfully-made, mouth-watering gourmet sandwiches.

These babies are the perfect pairing to movie dates, barkada snacks and even family bonding moments. What makes their opening an exciting one is that they added some new items to their menu which we will reveal later in this article.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

According to Jonathan Mempin (one of the owner siblings), Chino’s Deli got their name from one of the owners “Chino Mempin” which is his brother. The deli started as a home business in the late 80’s. It was actually his mom, Emelita Javier Mempin who made her own signature recipes of longanisa, corned beef and tocino at their home in Mabulay Subdivision. Their products were so good that many have come to love and patronize them.

Because of this, their sister “Katrina Mempin-Montecillo” and Jonathan’s wife “Mary Anne” also showed interest and later joined in the business to help it grow. The group then expanded the business venture by distributing their products at the “frozen goods section” at supermarkets in popular malls in the city. Chino’s Deli now has an outlet the 3^rd level of Centrio Mall and now their 2^nd branch is at SM CDO Downtown Premier’s Food Hall.

MEDIA DAY and GRAND OPENING
