The 26th Mindanao Business Conference successfully concluded last September 7-9, 2017. It was hosted by Oro Chamber and the event was held at the Xavier Estates Sports and Country Club.

MinBizCon 2017 was made more colorful and exciting by the exhibits at the event. Let’s take a look at some of them.
Day 1 – September 7, 2017
This day marked the opening of all the exhibits, stakeholder’s luncheon, parade of colors, entry of dignitaries, acknowledgement and roll call of Mindanao Chamber Delegates and overview of MinBizCon 2017.
In the afternoon, the highlights of the event included welcome remarks on part of the city by Mayor Oscar Moreno and welcome remarks on part of the province by Provincial Governor Yevgeny Vicente Emano, opening statement by PCCI President George Barcelon and a keynote speech by a representative for Sec. Carlos Dominguez.
Later in the afternoon, here’s what took place; the Mainstreaming Mindanao Energy Supply, Strategic Interventions for Inclusive Economic Growth, DBP’s Max Infra in Dutertenomics and The Governor’s Night fellowship night.
Day 2 – September 8, 2017
On the 2nd day of the Mindanao Business Conference, the highlights were: the welcome remarks by DOST 10 Regional Director Dir. Alfonso Alamban, Rationale of Technology Transfer Day by Engr. Edgar Garcia, Keynote Speech by Sec. Fortunato Dela Pena, the awarding of technology licensing agreements to adoptors and Presentation of Incentives under the 2017 Investment Priorities Plan and Press Conference at the Skybar.
In the afternoon, the highlights were the following; speeches from Atty. Franklin Quijano for Phividec and Romolo Nati (Chairman and CEO of Italpinas Development Corp.). A video presentation for Seven Seas Water Park was also presented to the crowd.
Speeches were also delivered by Hon. Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, — USEC Zenaida Maglaya and an open forum was hosted by Vicente Lao.
Finally to close the day’s event, were the simultaneous break-out sessions composed of the following; “Agriculture Modernization Strategies by Italian Chamber of Commerce”, “Business Matching Session” by Board of Investments and DOST/Tapi Session.
Day 3 – September 9, 2017
On the final day, the main highlight was President Rodrigo Duterte’s Speech. It was held at the convention hall of Xavier Estates Sports and Country Club.
The event was covered by several representatives from the media and top bloggers in the city and attended by respected delegates of the conference.
