Seda Centrio Hotel’s Frost: A Tree Lighting Event and Launching of Smile Train Partnership – A Night Full of Excitement, Glamour, Impressive Performances, Magnificent Food and Great People

Last November 24, 2017Seda Centrio’sFrost” Tree Lighting event and Smile Train Partnership launching took place at the hotel. It was such a memorable evening since it also highlighted Seda’s partnership with Smile Train.

Aside from that, the event was also attended by a string of VIP Guests such as; Seda Hotel executives and staff, Ms. Cathy Dano (Owner of Monster Kitchen and Thai Me Up), George Sio Goking, Armi Apple of GMA, Mommy Marge (ABS-CBN host), DOT Region 10 Directors, Miss Cagayan de Oro 2017 Katrina Acaylar, Miss Iligan 2017, Dr. Emily Ceballos, Centrio Mall Operations and Marketing executives, Ms. Dorothy Jean Pabayo of City Tourism, representatives from various print media outfits and well-known bloggers in the city and many more.

Frost was hosted by ABS-CBN’s “Nicole Abas-Datayan”. The event was held at the Sinamay Function Room at the 4th floor of Seda Hotel. The guests came in “white” outfits to resemble “snow” as if it was a winter Christmas.

Upon entering the venue, the guests were greeted with a delicious spread of cocktails which they can nosh on while waiting for the program to start. The food and cocktails were all prepared by Seda’s Executive Sous ChefRobert Ortiz”.

To open the program, Seda’s Hotel Manager, Mr. Armand Angeles went on stage to deliver his opening and welcoming remarks to the delight of the crowd. After that, the guests were directed to the E-lounge where the Christmas trees and decors were placed.

The guests were then able to witness breathtaking ballet performances from the ballet performers. When the performance was over, Nicole Abas Datayan together with Mr. Armand Angeles, Dorothy Jean Pabayo, George Sio Goking, DOT Region 10 Chairman and the winners of Miss Cdo 2017/ Miss Iligan 2017 gathered in front of the audience and officially lit up the Christmas trees and decorations.

When this was done, the guests were directed back to the Sinamay function room. The directress of “Smile Train” was then called out on stage and she explained what the program was all about and what their aim was in creating the charity.

To enable the guests to help the charity, items were being sold such as key chains and Christmas balls. The proceeds will be able to help raise funds for Smile Train.

To End the Night

To formally close the program, Ms. Eiya Angela Pupos performed a raffle draw and gave away dining vouchers at Misto Restaurant and an overnight stay at Seda Hotel to the winners.

Overall, it was an enchanting and memorable night with a cause. Everybody went home happy, satisfied and amazed with the whole event.
