The Ororama “Orange” Collection: Stylish Pieces Inspired by Fashionable Destinations around the World

Fashion shows give me a different kind of high each time I attend one because silently, I do love to keep up with fashion trends and is a bit of a fashion enthusiast myself. That is why I was so excited to attend this year’s Mindanao Fashion Summit for I know that this is that time of the year where I get to witness new collections from my favorite designers from the OFDG and their guest designers.

August 4 marked the 2nd day of the Mindanao Fashion Summit 2017 and it was a memorable day for me. The first part of the show was Ororama’s “Orange” Collection wherein the models showcased clothes that look like they were taken from various places in the world. They were styled by Zoe Botwin and I loved how he put every single thing together. Each item had their own appeal and special touch to them and this is how I see them from each category.

Femme Fatale

Confidence, sexiness and spunk are three words to describe this batch.

The black color makes the clothes look sophisticated and classy.

These items look like they were taken from a night scene from the busy and loud streets of New York or Las Vegas.

Each piece looks perfect for a night out and is ideal for clubbing.

Cuba Libre

I just love the good vibrations this batch gave out. It breathed positivity, playfulness and eternal youth.

The clothes are very laid back, comfy and trendy. They’re perfect to wear during sunny weather or at a beach outing.

It’s like an ordinary day at Cuba!

Seoul Mates

Korean fashion is cool, colorful, combined with layering and infused with urban street style. Seeing this batch reminded me of some popular K-pop artists and the clothes they usually wear.

When you wear clothes like these, you’ll get that “Korean feel”. They look like they’re perfect to wear during sports activities or a lazy day strolling in the mall with friends.

Monterey Hotel/Coachella Chillin/London Calling

The Bohemian patterns make you wish you were attending the Coachella Music Festival. I’m totally in love with the material they used in these Bohemian pieces; it’s very unique and chic perfect for everyday wear.

London as we know it is one of the most fashionable places in the world. So when I saw what the ladies wore on this batch, my jaw dropped.

They look so office chic and what successful middle-aged ladies would wear. For me, the pieces screamed power, passion and seduction.

The gents looked dapper and cool in their outfits for this collection.

Some are good for casual wear and some are ideal for formal events.

Viva Italia

Just when I thought the show couldn’t get any better, here comes the “Viva Italia” pieces from the Orange collection. Lace is still in as I can still see many are wearing this material so I loved the lace pieces in this batch.

The dresses didn’t fall short of appeal since both had exquisite details besides the beautiful cloth that was used in them.

I especially loved this “Green” gem. Not only is it high fashion but it’s very eye-catching as well, it easily became my favorite in this entire collection.

What the men wore was also impressive but the one that caught my eye was the grey blazer paired with red trousers.

It’s seldom you would see regular men wear this combination but it looks really great. That’s just another day in Italy!

Overall, I can say I was astonished with this year’s Ororama “Orange” Collection! Who knew these stylish pieces are available in Ororama? So if you’re looking for fashionable outfits to wear to your next rendezvous, head on to Ororama and grab one of these chic pieces!
