Christmas season is just around the corner and it’s been a tradition each November that tree lighting ceremonies take place at various hotels and malls in the city to welcome the holidays.
NHotel kicked off November by holding their Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony last November 7, 2019. It was an intimate and private occasion with only a few attendees including Mayor Oscar Moreno, the hotel owners, the hotel management and staff plus other VIP guests. It was a serene yet elegant affair.
Once you enter the hotel, you immediately see the lovely decors and their unique Christmas Tree. A winter backdrop can also be seen beside the beautiful Christmas Tree where guests can have their photos taken.
What really caught my eye was their visually-striking Christmas Tree. It was very lovely, charming and extraordinary. The tree was adorned with Pink and White Flowers, Silver Balls and Gold leaves which added to its overall appeal.
Event Proper
The Tree Lighting ceremony started with a prayer and an opening remarks by NHotel’s Hotel Manager, Ms. Ami Saniel. She began by saying that 2019 has been a wonderful year for the hotel since it is a milestone for them because it is their 8th year in the industry.
Ms. Saniel also reiterated that number 8 is a symbol of infinity signifying the infinite accomplishments of NHotel this year one of which is opening doors of opportunities for economic growth. These include opportunities for differently-abled individuals, senior citizens, and training for the youth through the jump start program of the government.
She also said that social is not the only thing that’s important but also their moral responsibility. They sent their people to join various trainings to strengthen their skills and maintain their standards in order to be able to offer the best service and hotel standards to their customers.
Aside from that, she also added that for 7 consecutive years, NHotel has been given a certificate of excellence award by Tripadvisor. Their hotel also showed their care for the environment by taking part in coastal cleanups, tree planting activities and joining pollution control seminars. They also conducted bloodletting activities and partook in trainings on how to respond to calamities and emergencies.
Ms. Ami said they are looking forward to another year full of blessings and opportunities to make NHotel a home for everyone.
After her speech, it was now time for Mayor Oscar Moreno to deliver his Christmas message to everyone present. According to Mayor Moreno, the hotel industry is very competitive but despite that, NHotel is able to deliver and stand out, which is why he would like to congratulate them.
He also appreciated NHotel for their environmental initiatives in the community. Mayor Moreno also said that the government has limited powers in doing some important tasks which is why it needs partners and he is thankful that NHotel has always helped and collaborated with several government programs to make them successful. He wished the hotel well and hopes that 2020 will be a better year not only for NHotel but also for the entire region.
After his speech, a token of appreciation was given to Mayor Oscar Moreno by Ms. Ami Saniel and a photo opportunity took place between them and the hotel owners.
It was then time to light up the Christmas tree which is the highlight of the event.
When it was done, a picture-taking ceremony took place plus a wonderful song number was performed by the NHotel staff to entertain the guests.
After that, everybody was treated to delicious cocktails and an overflowing supply of drinks.
This then concluded the event.
