Last Saturday, July 14, 2018 – Cabinet spouses were treated to a special dinner at Kave Restaurant, Limketkai Luxe Hotel.

Some cabinet members, as well as their wives and PCO Secretary, Mr. Martin Andanar, were there for the Surgical Healthcare Project in Marawi City. The project’s duration is from July 13-17, 2018 at the Amai Pakpak Medical Center in Marawi City.

One of the special guests at the event was the city’s honorable Mayor Oscar Moreno.

This was an extraordinary event since the entire function room was set up showcasing the rich Muslim culture. This idea was spearheaded by the hotel’s General Manager, Mr. Jerome Dela Fuente. The ceiling was adorned with colorful fans and malong which are pleasing to the eyes.

Aside from that, the floors also had banig and small round tables where the guests can dine Muslim-style.

Check out the exquisite details of this pink table! The embellishments and patterns are so beautiful to look at.

The guests look pleased with this unique dinner set up as they all smiled for the cameras. Maranao or Muslim food was also served to the cabinet spouses for them to be able to taste how delicious this type of cuisine is.

What made the event more exciting was that the guests were made to wear Sarong (for men) and Malong (for women) to give them the feel of wearing Muslim attire for that ultimate Maranao experience!

The stage was also decorated with eye-catching umbrellas and decors to complete the Muslim theme. Even the entrance has Muslim vendors where guests can purchase some souvenirs.

To make the event more exciting, a Muslim dance performance was done by Capitol University students to entertain the guests.

Overall, it was a memorable event that everybody enjoyed.
